Revista amerikane NY\nGlamour Magazine e quan baba i rrokut urban dhe sensacion internacional q\u00eb ka\ninfluencuar gjenerata n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri e m\u00eb tej. N\u00eb n\u00ebntor 2022,\norganizata \u201cE ardhmja ime, e tashmja ime\u201d ideoi projektin \u201cKasketa\u201d realizuar\nn\u00eb bashk\u00ebpunim me Youth Tirana dhe me mb\u00ebshtetjen e Kongresit Rinor Komb\u00ebtar.\nProjekti kishte p\u00ebr q\u00ebllim promovimin e pikave turistike t\u00eb Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, afrimin\ne turist\u00ebve vendas dhe t\u00eb huaj, si dhe sh\u00ebrbeu si nj\u00eb aksion komunitar p\u00ebr\nmir\u00ebmbajtjen dhe pastrimin e ndotjeve urbane. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nj\u00eb aktivitet\ntjet\u00ebr me r\u00ebnd\u00ebsi i shoqat\u00ebs \u00ebsht\u00eb \u201cUra Fest\u201d, nj\u00eb aktivitet kulturor dhe\nartistik q\u00eb afron t\u00eb rinjt\u00eb e talentuar pran\u00eb muzik\u00ebs, p\u00ebr t\u00eb realizuar \u00ebndrr\u00ebn\ne tyre. On December 10, 2022, the renowned Albanian artist Kastro Zizo\n(Klevis Bega) received the biggest award \u201cArtist of the Year 2022\u201d in\nWashington DC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the request of the Honorable Senator Charles E. Schumer, the\nAmerican flag was flown over the US Congress building in Washington DC on\nDecember 10, 2022, in remembrance of the UN World Human Rights Day, honoring\nKastro Zizo (Klevis Bega) Artist of the Year 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senator Schumer\u2019s office honors artist Kastro Zizo (Klevis Bega) as\nthe 2022 Artist of the Year, \u201cfor his exceptional achievements and\nsignificant contributions to creative arts in Europe and USA. In celebration of\n2022 UN Human Rights Day, we commend you for your advocacy for dignity,\nfreedom, and justice, especially for the youth in Albania and around the world<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is a great privilege to receive an award of such high caliber.\nI am very honored and proud to receive recognition and support from the\nhonorable senator Schumer. I am very appreciative to be seen as an artist\ncoming from a small place like Albania. Art has the power to change the world,\u201d\nsaid Kastro Zizo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, many prestigious American media have talked about the\nsuccess and artistic achievements of the famous artist Kastro Zizo. NY Glamor\nMagazine called him the \u201cfather of urban rock\u201d and an international sensation\nwho has influenced generations in Albania and beyond. Kastro Zizo was also\nnamed the \u201cMost Influential Artist of 2022\u201d by NY Elite Magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the second time that Kastro Zizo has been honored with the\n\u201cArtist of the Year\u201d award \u2013 in 2022 in DC and previously in 2010 by Zhurma\nMusic Video Awards in Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his immense contributions in the Albanian music and\nsongs, the great Kastro Zizo has left a mark in Albanian society. Through his\nnon-profit organization \u201cMy future, my present,\u201d Kastro Zizo promotes the\nrights of youth through advocacy and organizing activities. Founded in Tirana\nin 2020, the non-profit organization creates opportunities for youth in\neducation, dialogue activities, youth development, arts, culture and social\nissues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November 2022, the organization \u201cMy future, my present\u201d (E\nardhmja ime, e tashmja ime) organized the \u201cKasketa\u201d project, in collaboration\nwith Youth Tirana, and support from National Youth Congress. The project aimed\nto promote Albania\u2019s tourism and to attract local and foreign tourists. The\nevent was also a call for community action to clean up the city areas and to\nprotect the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important activity that the non-profit organized is \u201cUra\nFest\u201d, which is a cultural and artistic activity that brings talented young\npeople closer to music, to make their dreams come true. The project was\norganized in cooperation with the Tirana Municipality and the multimedia center\nTen, with artistic creators Kastro Zizo and VinSmoker, and the jury comprising\nof Alban Kondi and Indrit Topi. \u201cI believe youth is the driving engine that will take us towards\nthe future. Therefore, we have to become their instrument today so they can be\nour future tomorrow. I believe in the work that I do in building our youth for\nthe future.
