Apo ajo lart\u00ebsi bjeshk\u00ebtare e Selit\u00ebs lidhet me kunor\u00ebn e ndonj\u00eb nuseje t\u00eb pazakont\u00eb malesh? Por mbase kunora e atij mali ishin ve\u00e7se ato shtat\u00eb liqenet e tij, \u201cshtat\u00eb kupa argjendi\u201d (si\u00e7 i pag\u00ebzon k\u00ebnga e Liri Rash\u00ebs) mbi ca rrafshina malore t\u00eb rralla, q\u00eb nuk i gjen n\u00eb asnj\u00eb vend tjet\u00ebr ballkanik. Si \u00e7do grua malesh dhe ajo pati dy vargje emrash, at\u00eb t\u00eb der\u00ebs prind\u00ebrore dhe t\u00eb der\u00ebs ku u martua, ku n\u00eb k\u00ebt\u00eb t\u00eb fundit llagapi \u201cVeziri\u201d nuk i jepte asaj ndonj\u00eb status qeveris\u00ebs n\u00eb \u201cUellsin\u201d e saj shqiptar. Nd\u00ebrkaq se pse t\u00eb vjen nd\u00ebrmend nj\u00eb grua tjet\u00ebr gjithaq e shtyr\u00eb n\u00eb mosh\u00eb, Mbret\u00ebresha e Anglis\u00eb, e lindur vet\u00ebm nj\u00eb vit m\u00eb von\u00eb, me 1926, q\u00eb n\u00eb pamje t\u00eb par\u00eb ngjajn\u00eb dy bot\u00eb t\u00eb ndryshme, por nuk \u00ebsht\u00eb k\u00ebshtu, pasi kuror\u00ebzimi jet\u00ebsor i njeriut, cilitdo qoft\u00eb rangu shoq\u00ebror i tij, \u00ebsht\u00eb nj\u00eb. Aq m\u00eb tep\u00ebr q\u00eb n\u00eb muzg t\u00eb mosh\u00ebs, ku gjend\u00ebn ato t\u00eb dyja, dielli ka t\u00eb nj\u00ebjtin pash ul\u00ebs p\u00ebr kah toka. Njeriu \u00ebsht\u00eb unik, i shkruar ose jo, i k\u00ebnduar ose jo, mjaft q\u00eb gjat\u00eb rrojtjes s\u00eb vet t\u00eb mund t\u00eb ket\u00eb qen\u00eb i till\u00eb. Tek e fundit, t\u00eb gjitha n\u00ebnat, ngado t\u00eb jen\u00eb, jan\u00eb t\u00eb fisme&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>1<\/p>\n<p>T\u00eb dyja k\u00ebto gra t\u00eb motshme, Madh\u00ebria e Saj dhe n\u00ebna jote, kan\u00eb sjell\u00eb n\u00eb jet\u00eb p\u00ebrkat\u00ebsisht kat\u00ebr dhe pes\u00eb f\u00ebmij\u00eb, kan\u00eb (st\u00ebr)nip\u00ebr e (st\u00ebr)mbesa, i jan\u00eb g\u00ebzuar jet\u00ebs familjare, si\u00e7 dhe jan\u00eb trishtuar ndonj\u00ebher\u00eb prej saj. Mbret\u00ebresha g\u00ebzon nj\u00eb status madh\u00ebshtor, ajo ka k\u00ebshtjella dhe prona n\u00ebp\u00ebr Britani, \u201cportreti i saj \u00ebsht\u00eb stampuar n\u00eb parat\u00eb dhe pullat postare, \u00e7do ligj i Parlamentit mban firm\u00ebn elisabetiane, i shqiptohet emri n\u00eb betimin dhe himnin kombetar.\u201d Po ashtu n\u00eb dor\u00ebn e saj jan\u00eb dhe disa forca ushtarake mbret\u00ebrore tok\u00ebsore, ajrore e detare, pa\u00e7ka se ajo nuk ka pasaport\u00eb, nuk lejohet t\u00eb votoj\u00eb dhe nuk mund t\u00eb thirret si d\u00ebshmitare n\u00eb gjyq. Nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb q\u00eb gruaja q\u00eb e \u00e7oi jet\u00ebn mes Dibrrit e Fandit nuk ka asgj\u00eb nga k\u00ebto, pushteti i saj \u00ebsht\u00eb vet\u00ebm am\u00ebsor, mbi f\u00ebmij\u00ebt e saj, zogjt\u00eb e korijeve, blet\u00ebt e fluturat e livadheve.<\/p>\n<p>Por sado e larg\u00ebt t\u00eb duket p\u00ebrqasja mes dy grave t\u00eb tilla, nga dy qoshe t\u00eb ndryshme t\u00eb Europ\u00ebs, tek e fundit t\u00eb dyja ato jan\u00eb personazhe t\u00eb shekullit XX q\u00eb kan\u00eb dhe ndonj\u00eb aso t\u00eb p\u00ebrbashk\u00ebte q\u00eb nuk rroket me t\u00eb par\u00ebn. N\u00eb t\u00eb dy vendet e tyre, Angli e Shqip\u00ebri, nuk ka patur ligje t\u00eb shkruara, por vet\u00ebm t\u00eb pashkruara, ndaj ato jan\u00eb fryt i nj\u00eb edukimi tradicional, ku qytetaria ka qen\u00eb e ndryshme p\u00ebr nga stadet e zhvillimit, kurse qytet\u00ebrimi nj\u00eb, ai europian, n\u00eb diversitetin e vet kulturor. Por nj\u00ebra nga grat\u00eb e fisit Shtera i thot\u00eb t\u00eb zotit t\u00eb sht\u00ebpis\u00eb se nuk kishte qen\u00eb pun\u00eb me mend ajo q\u00eb kishin vendosur n\u00eb at\u00eb kuvend, dometh\u00ebn\u00eb q\u00eb ata, vendasit, p\u00ebr hir t\u00eb t\u00eb qenit nevojtar\u00eb p\u00ebr uji, t\u2019iu l\u00ebshonin tokat n\u00eb hyrje (nga reza e vis\u00eb) t\u00eb ardhurve, duke u shtyr\u00eb vet\u00eb p\u00ebr m\u00eb tej, pasi miqt\u00eb n\u00eb \u00e7do rast mund t\u00eb b\u00ebheshin zot\u00ebr t\u00eb ujit. Kaq u desh q\u00eb t\u00eb rithirrej t\u00eb nes\u00ebrmen kuvendi dhe t\u00eb ndryshohej ai vendim jo pa debat t\u00eb fort\u00eb mes burrave t\u00eb dy pal\u00ebve. Urt\u00ebsia dhe maturia e gruas p\u00ebrfillej n\u00eb teatrin e mpleksuar kanunor, ku burri ishte prijetar i sert\u00eb, por jo sundues autokrat. K\u00ebsisoj gruaja mal\u00ebsore, dhe pse anonime, ishte princesh\u00eb e llojit t\u00eb vet, grua e p\u00ebrkor\u00eb dhe sojnike, fliste ngadal\u00eb dhe rrjedhsh\u00ebm, ngrihej n\u00eb k\u00ebmb\u00eb sa her\u00eb i jepte dor\u00ebn dikujt, dinte t\u00eb ruante virtytet e rac\u00ebs, doket e vendit, nderin e familjes at\u00ebrore dhe asaj ku ishte martuar, vaji i saj ishte i p\u00ebrmasave homerike dhe gjith\u00eb burrat e dheut n\u00eb fund i dor\u00ebzoheshin atij vaji. Vaji i vajtimoreve ishte dhe \u201cgjyqi\u201d i fundit i burrave t\u00eb dheut! Gruaja e maleve ka qen\u00eb gjithnj\u00eb me fytyr\u00eb t\u00eb zbuluar dhe zakonet e saj nuk iu sh\u00ebmb\u00ebllenin atyre orientale, p\u00ebrpos ndonj\u00eb huazimi t\u00eb leht\u00eb t\u00eb von\u00eb. Natyrisht q\u00eb nuk ka vend p\u00ebr ekzaltim, dihet q\u00eb me Kanun gruaja nuk ka patur nj\u00eb pozit\u00eb t\u00eb favorshme, q\u00eb ajo nuk e kishte t\u00eb mjaftueshme lirin\u00eb e d\u00ebshmon dhe prania e virgj\u00ebreshave, dukuria e konkubinatit etj. Por pavar\u00ebsisht kufizimeve ajo nuk ishte e mbyllur, fytyr\u00ebmbuluar dhe e n\u00ebnshtruar, p\u00ebr m\u00eb tep\u00ebr kanunisht mbrohej n\u00eb m\u00ebnyr\u00eb t\u00eb dyfishte, nga familja am\u00eb dhe ajo ku ishte martuar. Ndoshta p\u00ebr t\u00eb gjitha shpalimet pozitive rreth saj, nj\u00eb ekspolorues i tradit\u00ebs nd\u00ebr shqiptar\u00eb, konsulli i hersh\u00ebm francez n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri, M. Veshja e saj e bardh\u00eb, me k\u00ebmish\u00ebn e rrok\u00ebzuar me fije ari ishte si e princeshave t\u00eb Uellsit, natyrisht thurur me \u201cperin\u201d shqiptar.
