\nDirections to Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY
\nBy Train:
\nTake Metro North’s Harlem River Line to the Valhalla stop. Walk three blocks to Kensico Dam.
\nFrom Queens:
\nTake Whitestone Bridge over to the Bronx. Then take Hutchinson Parkway north to 287 west for about 2
\nmiles to exit 6. At the end of the exit ramp, make a left toward route 22. At the stop sign make a right and follow
\nRoute-22 about “6 miles to Virginia Road (just before SAVEWAY CLEANERS). Turn left onto Virginia
\nRoad going .6 miles to Elronx River Parkway. Turn right onto Bronx River Parkway and follow about .5 miles
\nto KENSICO DAM PLAZA traffic circle. Look for sign pointing to Kensico Plaza. Park will be straight ahead, at
\nthe tall stone wall of the Dam.
\nFrom Manhattan:
\nTake Interstate-87 north to Interstate-287 East for about 5 miles to Exit 6 Route 22 (North Broadway). At end
\nof exit ramp turn left to go North on Route-22 Follow Route-22 about .6 miles to Virginia Road (just before
\nSAVEWAY CLEANERS), Turn left onto Virginia Road going .6 miles to Bronx River Parkway. Turn right onto
\nBronx Rives Parkway and follow about .5 miles to KENSICO DAM PLAZA traffic circle. Look for sign pointing
\nto Kensico Plaza. Park will be straight ahead, at the tall stone wall of the Dam.
\nFrom Lower Westche:ster:

\nFrom Upper Westchester: (Yorktown, Peekskill, Ossining, & other points north in Putnam Co.)
\nTake Taconic Parkway south to Bronx River Parkway. Then follow Bronx River Parkway south about 3 miles
\nto KENSlCO DAM PLAZ.A. A short distance after passing the Valhalla Train Station (on left), at next traffic
\nlight turn left and follow route to the huge open park on your left.
\nFrom Upper Westchester (Katonah, Mt. Kisco, Chappaqua, points north in Brewster & Danbury, CT)
\nFrom Danbury, first take Interstate-84 west to Interstate-684 south towards VVhite Plains. Get off Interstate-
\n684 onto 287. Follow 287 west for about 2 miles to exit 6. At the end of the exit ramp, make a left toward
\nroute 22. At the stop sign make a right and follow Route-22 about .6 miles to Virginia Road (just before SAVEVVAY
\nCLEANERS). Turn left onto Virginia Road going .6 miles to Bronx River Parkway. Turn right onto Bronx
\nRiver Parkway and follow about .5 miles to KENSICO DAM PLAZA traffic circle. Look for sign pointing to Kensico
\nPlaza. Park will be straight ahead, at the tall stone wall of the Dam.
\nFrom points along Interstate-95 in Stamford, CT. Greenwich, CT, and Port Chester, NY:
\nTake Interstate-287 west towards White Plains, New York. Get off Interstate-287 at exit 6. At the end of the
\nexit ramp, make a left toward route 22. At the stop sign make a right and follow Route-22 about .6 miles to
\nVirginia Road (just before SAVEWAY CLEANERS). Turn left onto Virginia Road going .6 miles to Bronx River
\nParkway. Turn right onto Bronx River Parkway and follow about .5 miles to KENSICO DAM PLAZA traffic circle
\nLook for sign pointing to Kensico Plaza. Park will be straight ahead, at the tall stone wall of the Dam.
\nFrom points west of Hudson River in New Jersey and Rockland County:
\nTake Interstate-87 south to Tappan Zee Bridge. After crossing Tappan Zee Bridge continue on Interstate-287
